[Paddlers] The Great Paddle

The boys completed the epic 14 hour journey from Portland to Astoria around 6PM last night and are all safe.  In the words of Adam, "the first 85 miles were great" but then the winds and rain came up in the final few miles at the mouth of the Columbia and it was brutal. Congratulations to Mark, Peter, Marti, Rick, Adam and Joel!  We can't wait to hear the stories.
The Columbia City crews included 11 paddlers who completed their journey in time for lunch and the hot tub!  Congratulations Tom, Diane, Laurie, Beth G, Barb, Nate, Bee, Sharma, John, Linda, Kara! 
You all have a presidential exemption from practice on Monday....after we rig the three boats.
Way to go, Homies!
