Two years ago I purchased an all carbon paddle made by Warner and loved it so much I decided to become a rep for them. I wanted to check in with the MHCC to see if there is any interest in a few blades I have on hand and would like to sell at a discount since they have been slightly used as demos. Here's what I currently have: 1 - 51" - $200 1 - 50" - $200 2 - 49" - $200 1 - 48" - $150 (it is the 2010 model) If you would like to know more about these paddles or why you would choose an all carbon over a hybrid or wood, please go to my website http://www.outriggerwarrior.com/paddles.html for a quick read. These paddles are one of the lightest on the market and run for $260 new. First thing I usually hear is ...light paddles aren't good because rough water and wind can rip them out of your hands! Well I have paddled in several Gorge races both on my OC1 and OC6 with mine and never once came close to losing it like everyone was telling me I would. It is different...it will feel more like an extension of your body vs a tool you are swinging around. A lighter paddle will decrease your fatigue in the long run so that you are able to apply more power. Here's your chance to give one a try....I would be glad to loan one out for a practice if you are interested, just either email me or call. See you all on the water! Rhonda 503-686-5122
