Congratulations to Adam, Mark, Joel, Peter, Paul & Steve for completing the
   amazing Portland to Astoria paddle! (First time for Paul and Steve!)  They
   arrived safely and a tad tired around 6pm.  Diane, Tom, Terri, Nicholas,
   Kathy & I met them with food, dry clothes and a welcome ride home. (Sorry we
   forgot your bike, Peter, so you could pedal back...)

   Congrats also to our Portland to Goble crews who achieved a new longer
   distance this year of about 40 miles!  Strong, early headwinds pounded all
   the canoes but the sunshine kept them going!

   A special thanks to Tom and Diane for hauling the trailer and canoes home
   safely and handling all the logistics.
